I’ve always loved to use brass brackets to hold shelves full of treasures. This living material starts out its life with loads of charm and only gets more magical over time, as the ever-changing finish tells tales of its adventures.
If you're searching for an elegant bracket, the Panhandler is simple yet full of personality. It has a sturdy, hand-forged steel base, which is then brass plated. It pairs beautifully with the Singing Stones shelf, or makes a great partner for a natural timber shelf as the wood and the brass will each develop a patina over the years.
The ideal home for the Panhandler is any spot indoors where its handsome side profile can be appreciated. It will bring a tiny jolt of delight to your eye every time you approach it along a hallway for example.
The hardy Clinker is a cast solid brass bracket. An indispensable friend that can be used inside and out, it's named after the clinker dinghy, beloved by fishermen.
I've always admired the institutional pressed brackets that were often used in green in the 1940s, and the Clinker is a reimagining of those robust forms in one of my favourite finishes.
The stylish grooved profile looks wonderful from a distance, but if you can find a space where you can admire it up close, you won't be sorry. It can be oriented in either direction, depending on your needs.

The overland Track in Tasmania’s Cradle Mountain is one of the most beautifully scenic, nature-immersing hikes you can possibly do. It will reset you into the rhythm and awe of nature. I went in late April when the Tanglefoot Fagus, an endemic deciduous beech endemic to the Tassie highlands leaves were turning and littered the track like orange & yellow snowflakes.
