Styling With Hardware: How To Use The Chandler Rack

Smart-looking storage can be hard to come by, which is why I love the Chandler Rack from my Henry Mercer Hardware Collection. This versatile piece that comes in both Brass & Black is a seamless addition to any space, I personally have three lined up in my kitchen. Here are just a few ways to use & style it

Art Studio

If you work in any type of studio, the Chandler Rack is one of the most versatile pieces. It has 5 hooks attached for easy hanging. Pop it in an artist's studio & use it to display & store your paintbrushes, scissors, artist's cloths & canvas bags filled with paints. If you’re a woodworker or blacksmith use it for all your tools – it’s easily accessible & provides an elegant finish, no matter how cluttered or minimal its kept.

Kitchen Hardware

These also work well in kitchens at home or in restaurants. Hang all of your pots, pans & utensils from existing hooks. If you run out of space do not fear, we have S-hooks available, which sit pretty on the Chandler Rack, allowing you to maximise your hanging!

Bathroom or other Interior Spaces

The Chandler Rack can be an amazing towel rail for smaller spaces or use our Butchers Hooks to hang loofahs or other bathroom essentials or even wet swimmers after a day at the beach. If you’re drilling into tiles make sure you use the special tile drill bit & a plug, easily found at your local hardware store – all screws are supplied with our hardware. The Chandler is also a great addition to any entryway and be used to hang keys, hats or scarves.

The overland Track in Tasmania’s Cradle Mountain is one of the most beautifully scenic, nature-immersing hikes you can possibly do. It will reset you into the rhythm and awe of nature. I went in late April when the Tanglefoot Fagus, an endemic deciduous beech endemic to the Tassie highlands  leaves were turning and littered the track like orange & yellow snowflakes.
