For Sibella, Mandy is a forever muse and a long-time dear friend. Her world of scent, alchemy, romance, language, history, intrigue & adventure is like a magic carpet kind of travel that transcends space and time, triggered by scent memory. Her perfumer’s library (called an organ) holds 200+ natural scents and is ever-growing. Sibella attended her 3-day workshop in Berkeley, San Francisco many moons ago and created her personalised scent ‘Become a Pirate’. With their passion for all things curious and creative, they are virtually pairing for an In-Conversation celebrating Mandy’s latest book, The Museum of Scent.

Mandy is the author of nine books, including four on natural essences & perfume and a cookbook on essential oils. She has been featured in Vogue, Vanity Fair and Forbes to name a few. She will join us from her Museum, the Aftel Archives of Curious Scent, we invite you to tune in from the comfort of your own home for the virtual experience: ‘In-Conversation with Mandy Aftel’ and you will get a first glimpse at Sibella’s recently completed Creative Studio in Bundeena.
