The Stylist’s Guide to London | Kew Gardens
This is a favourite stop for me, my inner Botanical Explorer gets very excited about visiting the John Pawson Sackler Crossing, the glasshouses, giant water lilies and Marianne North’s Gallery, an homage to her fearless exploring & life’s work of botanical illustrations that line the walls of this pavilion that she built & funded in 1882. A masterpiece in many ways.
Temperate House, an incredible structure and the largest surviving Victorian glasshouse, has been under careful restoration for 5 years. It was in a ghost-like state when I visited which held its own beauty, but it will soon be re-opened in all its glory later this year.
