Secateurs are a must when you have a fascination for flora in all shapes & sizes. These were made as a tool specific to plants in the 1890s, which I just love. Cutting plants and flowers, as part of gardening, is a practice from European & East Asian antiquity and their specialized scissors included the Chinese penjing and the Japanese bonsai snips. But I also love secateurs as a sculptural item as well. With a leather handle for the foragers, flora wranglers, flower pickers & gardeners in your life.
