My brief for The Society inc newspaper #2 went something like this, ' Joseph Banks goes on a seafaring adventure seeking botanical specimens & stargazing along the way '. I have long admired Beth’s illustrations of Australian flora&fauna and asked her to imagine the front cover as an advertisement to encourage other able bodies to come along for the adventure.
