Deconstructing a Still Life #10

An intrigue of places far away has always inspired my love of adventure.

I think of myself as a treasure seeker & explorer. To be those things I need atlases, maps & dictionaries from other countries. Journals & mythical maps found in secondhand stores or old book shops can create great backdrops for many spaces. This still life shows the ways paper can be used for a purpose, whether it be for a celebration & semi permanent or set in place as a backdrop for a bed as a reminder of your favourite mythical story or discovery.

Our suggestions to bring the adventure seeking nature of this still life into your own magical spaces are the hand made, hand painted recycled wood swing, wooden sailing boats, Port Hole mirror, Mother of Pearl shells & Mariner stool made from American white oak. Mix these with your own maps, atlases & paper collections for a truly personal vignette.
