Retail & Administration Assistant

Responsibilities
Greet & serve visitors to The Society inc
Answering and directing phone call inquiries
Keep the shop looking its best
Packing & shipping online orders and maintaining the online store
Administration duties include data entry into our inventory program, accounting software and online store
Happy to put on any hat and lend a hand to the design studio when needed

Skills
A background in retail sales, secretarial or customer services
Experience in or awareness of the interior design and homewares industry essential
Passionate about visual merchandising & styling, take pride in a beautiful retail experience.
Knowledge of POS (Shopify) & great customer service
Love of product, sharing insights into what’s on the market
Love sharing stories, passion for design, excited to advise customers on design choices
Good interpersonal skills and customer service experience to be able to  communicate with customers and team in a professional and confident manner
