The Society Inc. presents Charly Wrencher’s Pot Holes & Great Whites. A world of deep colour & tales from the hinterland. Come and meet the artist on opening night, drink in hand, and fall into his world of dynamic land & seascapes.
It’s that time of year again to rise early, wrap yourself up and gather & collect at our annual Society Inc. fleamarket!
As usual we’ll spill out into the surrounds of Precinct 75. These are the humble markets of Paris in our very own Inner West showcasing anything and everything from textiles & tableware to books, found treasures & hardware.
Cosy up with local makers and crafters and see what’s happening in our creative community. Spend the morning with some fantastic makers including Shibori, Sally Campbell, Felix Allen, Jacqueline Fink, Atolyia, Cornersmith, Nourish and Nest & Sam Robinson.
The Society Inc. Winter Fleamarket August 29th from 8am – 12pm.
The Society Inc. is hosting a very special workshop with master shipwright, Elise Cameron-Smith, in handcrafting your own miniature sailing boat. You will be provided with all you need to build the frame of your sailboat, but come with a name in mind. Bring your own collection of small curiosities and treasures, from feathers to sea glass or shells, to adorn your boat (and don’t forget to bring your own scissors). Be bold, fly the skysails and join the fleet.
